Copenhagen: an itinerary

If you saw my Stockholm itinerary, I didn’t stop my tour of Scandinavia there! I went onto what has now potentially become my favourite city in Europe - COPENHAGEN! So here are my recommendations

Accommodation

I stayed at the Copenhagen Marriott hotel and it was perfectly located and all the rooms were great as well - great condition and spacious!

  • Meals

    • Sticks n Sushi - yes the Danish love sushi and know how to do it well!

    • Joe and the Juice - yes it is a Danish brand that you can get elsewhere but just get it!

    • Gasoline Grill - I don’t like burgers but this place changed my mind!

    • Apotek 57 - Danish morning plates are great and have something for everyone - bread, whipped butter, cheese, jam, eggs

    • Atelier September - more whipped butter - mmmm!

    • Poulette

    • Organic Hot Dog Stand - the Danish love their hot dogs! And I love their hot dogs too! They have all different meat options and vegan and vegetarian options too!

    • La Banchina* - only in the summer months

  • Bakeries - go there for an afternoon treat

    • Andersen & Maillard - get all pastries!

    • Hart Bageri - from the people at NOMA - mmmm!!

    • Studio Arhoj for ceramics

    • Boii studio for lovely GANNI inspired clothes for cheaper!

    • HAY House for all your Danish home needs

    • Flying tiger for party supplies plenty

    • Ganni - expensive but good for browsing

    • Sui Ava - hair accessories

    • Tage Andersen* for home decor

    • By Malene Birger - expensive but good for browsing

    • Royal Copenhagen for traditional Danish blue delft
